2021 Château Branaire-Ducru 6-pack OWC (93-95 VM)
Regular price
$270.00
Today’s offer should look familiar to the Bordeaux lover, as it is packed with household names. The highlight is Lynch-Bages (and Echo, its second wine), both of which were absolute showstoppers on our trip. Dollar for dollar, this is one of the most exciting pairs from any of the châteaux we visited. Another one of our trip’s highlights is the as yet unrated Rauzan-Gassies. A Second Growth for only $50 a bottle? This is a can’t-miss wine that belongs in any Bordeaux lover’s cellar. Also from Margaux, and also looking like one of the steals of the vintage, is Malescot St. Exupéry, a very classy Third Growth at a stellar price. Another highly rated gem from the Classifieds is Branaire-Ducru, which sadly is also highly limited. Also falling into the highly limited category this year is d'Armailhac, a delicious value that won’t last long. We close with some other familiar names, like Talbot and Carbonnieux, plus the much-anticipated release of Carbonnieux Blanc. A gorgeous white that overdelivers on so many levels, you won’t want to pass it up—especially at $36 per bottle.
